This course is designed to give you a foundation into the practices of BEING a SongKeeper. The emphasis is on “Being” a SongKeeper - because it is a way of walking in the world. Walking in connection to the Earth, with self awareness. 

In this 3-part series, you will learn how to use your voice and your breath to align and alchemize yourself and your life in harmony with nature.

The SongKeeper School is a program of Sacred Singing, Earth Honoring and Ritual. We use sound for transmutation and transformation.

Sound is vibration. Working with sound has the capacity to remove blockages and stagnant energy in our lives, harmonize our relationships, and align our energy field with the North Star of our Destiny. This is singing to bring change - individually and collectively.

THE SONGKEEPER SCHOOL: INNER WORLDS is a 4-month program of sacred singing, earth honoring, ritual, vocal coaching and self-awareness. This course is intended for those who feel called to sing as a means of emotional expression, liberation from stagnation, limitation, old programming and as a means of self-healing; so that we have greater access to the fullness of our lives.

In order to have mastery of the outer worlds, one must have mastery of their inner worlds. In order to be fully self expressed, we must learn how to navigate the terrain of our emotions, our mental projections and our soul longings. 

We will use Sound to traverse these vast internal landscapes.

We will go on a deep dive of singing, RECORDING, ritual, offerings, workshops, connecting with nature and more...

We will begin our day with a morning singing ritual practice. We will alternate between different workshop experiences; including nature walk, pottery, art and songwriting. Throughout the day, I will work with individuals and groups to record our songs. SongKeepers will be preparing new songs to record. Everyone will record in the choir of voices. Upon registration you will be sent songs to prepare.

From times of old people gathered in song to honor the earth and each other.

In the past, the balance of the ecosystem & the homeostasis of the land were intact. Songs were taught which contained this healthy vibration of place, of harmony, balance and oneness. They were sung to nourish the land and the people who sang them. At this time in our history, connection has been lost to traditions, to earth honoring practices, to ourselves. Yet, the spirit of place, the songs that contain the vibrational strength of the earth and the memory of who we are - are still present, and being sung for those who can hear them. When we sing to the land, the spirit of the place and our own spirits come alive. We can restore environments and reawaken the sacredness of life by singing to the Earth. We can sing the future. We can sing to our Destiny and be sung by the Universe.
