SING THE WORLD AWAKE! is a music, mindfulness and social emotional learning program that activates children’s highest potential through song, education, imagination and the power of connection.

Sing the World Awake! combines group singing to increase one’s sense of belonging & self-worth; the use of sound vibration to calm the nervous system and activate the body’s self-healing mechanism; hand positions to stimulate the Eastern acupressure points and energy meridians of the body; movement to invigorate the lymphatic system, brain and circulatory system; as well as education to help us know that we are an essential part of this BIG world!!

In the Sing the World Awake! Teacher Training you will learn to:
- Use Self-Awareness as the conduit of the lesson you're teaching
- Hold the Integrity of your classroom container
- Principles of Mindfulness
- Child Development
- Songs and Exercises for children

Class and performance principles include:
- The Power of Sound

- Principles to facilitating group work
- Class Structure
- How to keep your class participants engaged

The course will culminate in a Practicum Experience in which you will have the opportunity to design your own exercise and teach it to the class.
